Ascent Junior Racing – Southeast Michigan

More Training. More Flexibility. Same Great Coaching.

Ascent Junior Racing in Southeast Michigan offers athletes ages 6–13 a flexible and affordable pathway into ski racing. New for 2025–26, families may mix and match training days across Alpine Valley, Pine Knob, and Mt. Holly to build a schedule that works best for them.

Every program includes a full local race schedule, professional coaching from U.S. Ski & Snowboard–certified staff, and a focus on skill development, confidence, and fun.

Important Notes on Day/Location Selection

  • Families will select their specific training day(s) and location(s) at registration.

  • These selections are fixed for the season to ensure quality coaching ratios and respect for daily capacity limits.

  • Our refund policy accounts for cancellations based on your chosen day(s).

  • Ascent will make every effort to add bonus practices when possible, but full make-ups cannot be guaranteed.

Training Locations & Capacity

  • Alpine Valley – Monday, Thursday, Saturday → up to 40 athletes per day

  • Pine Knob – Monday, Thursday → up to 30 athletes per day

  • Mt. Holly – Wednesday → up to 24 athletes per day

Athletes may choose any combination of these days/locations up to the number included in their program tier.

Race Schedule

All Southeast Michigan Junior Ascent athletes compete in the local Sunday Race Series. Races are included in tuition across all tiers. Schedule coming soon!
